I know I’m not the only one who has thought of this, but I do feel pretty genius at times. 😉 I printed a blank calendar off the internet and labeled the tops with different meal genres. Then I jotted down the things that we eat under each genre. Again, we are pretty simple but love home cooked meals. Soul food…may not always be the healthiest. But at least it is not full of preservatives and chemicals.
What I ended up with is a month worth of meal ideas without ever repeating. Probably one of the easiest things I’ve done. Creating the shopping list was a little more tedious. But without further ado, here is the month meal plan.
I will begin sharing my favorite recipes soon, so keep checking back. I hope you are inspired to create your own monthly meal plan. I don’t stick to mine day by day. It’s more of an idea board and then I use the meal planner book I mentioned in my last post to get specific when I need to. Some weeks are busier than others, that’s when I tend to use my meal planner book most.
